MINISTRY UPDATE/APPLESEED FUND
The budget
resolution passed by a large margin at last week's Congregational meeting: With
119 voters present, 110 voted yes, and 9 voted no. Thank you for all of your
participation in this meeting. The three resolutions recently adopted by our
Congregation (regarding the fiscal year, the Hispanic ministry, and the budget)
are all available on the website. Apple Seed funding now exceeds $8,000 with
almost $4,000 received in contributions last week alone. We appreciate your
giving to this dedicated fund in addition to your normal gifts!
Letters have
gone out thanking all of the generous contributors. A comprehensive written
tuition assistance policy has been prepared and is set for adoption by the
Administrative Council. Thank you so much!
